Your own kind of "special" truth, I'm sure... :P

"Honest" and "union organizer" are mutually exclusive expressions.

How much is Nash making at the CAW? $135K per year? I wonder if she'll go back to federal politics after the CAW gets disassembled by the bankruptcy? If she cared about the "little people", why is she a leader in a group which is dedicated to destroying companies?

What does her income have to do with her integrity?

And those 'little' people are pretty happy with what they are earning, so I would say Mrs Nash has done quite well for the workers.

All companies fail eventually, it's the nature of capitalism.

Wow. So you were upset the prime minister didn't defend a bigot? I see your priorities are in order.

See, that's what was upsetting about the whole thing - Doan didn't speak any ethnic slurs on the night in question, it was actually another player who'd done so. The whole imbroglio in Parliament was caused by a bitter ref with his nose out of joint and an insanely anti-Anglo Quebec sports media. The whole incident is fairly well documented in Bruce Dowbiggin's The Meaning of Puck: How Hockey Explains Modern Canada.
