I dont' see how you can critisize the Tories why letting the Liberals get away with having the BushHarper TV ads and the parties spending their time trying to liken Harper to Bush on the debates rather than talking real policies.

Who says I agree with the Liberal ads?

I don't watch much TV but my wife says she hasn't see many Conservative adds in the last week or so. Anyone else notice the same?
If so, I hope they're saving a couple million $'s for the final week Air War and blanket the country with several good adds right through Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanksgiving weekend is when Canadians get together with family and friends and the TV is usually on. Good time to reach people I would think.

I also noticed the same, and have been finding it odd that there weren't many Conservative ads on TV in the past week despite the party having more money than the others.

I hope your theory is correct, and they've been saving it up for a bombardment of good ones in the final week. One hopes they planned enough in advance to reserve all the prime spots on the top rated TV and sports programs.

Is there still a period at the end of the election campaign when there is a ban on political advertising? When does that period start?

Yeah, I had good laugh when I saw that. But then I got to thinking, and I don't recall ever seeing an election ad on TSN before. I wonder if he's on to something?
