Ezra Levant - Alberta "Human Rights" Commission dismisses complaint
A "human rights" complaint against Ezra Levant by the Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities has been dismissed by the Alberta Human Rights Commission.

Understandably, Ezra has mixed feelings:

... Is this a victory? I suppose, in a narrow technical sense, it is. Iím off the hook now for both of the HRC complaints. Thatís two legal battles done Ė though Iím still up to my eyeballs fighting defamation suits and other legal actions that the human rights industry piled on top of these complaints.

But Iíve read the dismissal letter three times now, and each time it makes me more angry. Because I havenít been given my freedom of the press. Iíve simply had the government censor approve what I said. Thatís a completely different thing.

Pardeep Gundara Ė a second-rate bureaucrat, a nobody Ė had to give me his approval for me to be allowed to go back to my business. For 900 days I was in the dock, waiting for this literary giant to pronounce his judgment on me. And I found favour in his eyes Ė but barely.

Sorry. I donít give a damn what Gundara or the HRC says....

This is BS, why does the BT site link to this, its unorigional and a direct copy of ezra without any input or thought on the part of mr just right.
I mean if this person wants to run a blog where they copy news stories and put a pointless and unneeded sentence on the top that is there biz but why in the world is BT linking to it, just bc 'just right' is lazy and sloppy doesnt mean BT needs to be.

We run an aggregator. Stories automatically show up on the main page. Neither Stephen or I have the time to filter every single blog entry written by the BT membership. Some entries are good and some are bad. I would hope that the membership would post comments in the bad entry to shame the person into doing better. We don't get paid for this website and as such our jobs, families, and sanity come first.
