Why is Joe Volpe even still in the race? He got 4% on "Super Weekend"... he's been fined $20,000 by the Liberal Party for fudging the memberships.

Volpe reminds anyone of what they don't like about the Liberals.

Is he really in a "Kingmaker" position?

I think he'll stay in just to that he can stick it to the team that he feels sabotaged his campaign.

I can't wait to hear what he has to say on election night. Imagine him ranting away about how the "racists" in the party conspired against him? I love it!

Remember, Rae, Dion and Kennedy are pretty much tied for second place.

They'll be lobbying the other-rans like crazy.

Plus, lets not forget the fact that delegates mean nothing unless you're able to actually get out the vote.

If Volpe is able to mobilize all his delegates, then that give him an advantage over say Dryden, who's campaign is pretty much bankrupt and won't be able to arrange travel for his delegates.

One cannot fund travel for their delegates, IIRC.

oh no? They can't pull shenanigans with buses like they do at nomination meetings?

Then again, if Volpe can get the dead to vote, he can probably do anything.

Rumour has it that he's gonna stay in the race for the sole purpose of sticking it to Iggy. He'll likely try to kneecap him in the last debate.

I have always been of the mentality that a parties leader should reflect its party, and to me Joe Volpe is the perfect Liberal leader.
