Actually it bothered him alot. When his term was over there was a pretty good operational surplus(that is without deficit spending included) which was quite a good change from the Stalin...er Trudeau years.

Once interest rates dropped, the GST money came flowing in and Chretein screwed the provinces it was 10 billion dollar surpluses.

Mulroney was responsible for 2/3 of it.
Do you mean "without debt service and principal payments included"? I think that's what you meant to say

Is the reputation feature working right?. I have had about 15 post in the last day and I've had .1 point added. I thought it was .1 per post.

Anyone know?

Edit: It works sometimes other times it doesn't. I was at 19.6 and have had 5 posts today. Shouldn't I have 20.1 instead of 19.8. Yesterday I made 9 posts and it stayed at 19.6. Hasdrubal gave me my first negative vote yesterday. Does that stop your rep from increasing until you match the decrease?

I believe that you earn .1 point per *day* that you post, but I could be wrong. So whether you make 10 posts or only 1, you'll only earn .1 point that day.

I must confess I have no idea how it works... Perhaps Craig or Stephen can cast some light on this?
