Interesting. Thanks for the post. I guess we'll have to shop around for something else.

I can't seem to update the BT blogroll through blogrolling.com. I have been slipping down the list despite trying to update the roller.

My website is http://www.scotthobbs.net

Any ideas :?:

Welcome to my world, dude. I've been slithering down the roll for months (not that I'm ranting as much as I used to or anything like that)...

Seems like Blogrolling may be a lost cause... is there nothing that we can do? My traffic is down almost one third since the blog roll stopped working. This is killing me here. What happens if there is an election called and suddenly 3/4's of the bloggers here aren't seeing any traffic increases? I know that a lot of people come here to look at the top of the blogroll to see who has updated recently. I haven't been near the top since October, despite posting several times per week and pinging the blog every time.

I am not planning on jumping to liblogs or anything...lol, but it is very frustrating. There must be something we can do. :(

Do you know of alternatives. If so list them and we will consider moving to it...

Okay I did a little research... problem is I don't really know much about blog rolls and pinging.
Here are a couple of the sites I went to...

http://blo.gs/
http://www.weblogs.com/

Also the website http://www.blinklist.com/tag/pings/ has a list of ping sites. Again, I don't know if these would be helpful or not. Probably best if someone with some experience in that area had a look

Hey, kids. Is it just me, or has it somehow started working again? Anybody else noticed this?

It did... weird. It hasn't worked for me in months, yet suddenly last week I was at the top of the blogroll...

Bizarre.

Stephen cleaned out lots of blogs. Perhaps after you get past a certain number in the list it doesn't update properly???

An interesting theory, especially considering that it seems to be all fudged up again. :? Have any new blogs been added to the roll? If so, maybe we can figure out just what that 'magic number' is, if there is one....
