The PC's are the only real party that had a chance of winning, the wildrose party is not well known enough & Albertans are not ready to trust them. When looking at the parties more well known the choice was clear, a PC government that is centre or a Liberal party to the left or th eNDP far to the left. What choice did Albertans have?

That's true enough. With a booming economy, the only impetus for change is philosophical, and probably less that 10% of the electorate vote according to a belief in any particular ideaology. This isn't the worst outcome possible, just mildly disappoiting.
