Definitely a sense of relief, but not full-scale relief - The Saskatchewan Party really had to moderate its stance and come almost to centre to get the needed urban vote. Even then, it was tight in the cities. There be a lot of libs/socialists in the urban centres; they've dominated so heavily that you pretty well had to become a closet conservative or risk social (and career) setbacks. Especially in the university sector, where I've worked for many years...
But it's great to have the commie cadre out of government. And knowing at least a few of the newly-elected MLAs, I have no doubt about the following-through part.
