Or their is some hardcore Christians (the same ones who object to Harry Potter) that object to this type of stuff.

If this was the case then Halloween would never have been allowed in the schools. The Christians are not the problem.

We don't need to be that politically correct here. Who exactly objected? I'm just curious which group has the clout to eliminate such an innocuous celebration. I can't see it being the Jews, but if it was, say it. I assume it was the Muslims. But why the mystery?

I actually didn't think there would be any mystery. I thought it was obvious. Of course it was the objections of Muslim students - though I intentionally didn't point the finger at them because, of course, the school didn't explicitly state who was to blame.

Jews have been a decent sized minority in Canada for many decades. The Chinese community here in Calgary is huge and has been for some time. I know and work with several Hindus who went trick or treating with their young children. Integration, within reason of course, doesn't seem to be a problem for these groups.

God's justice is not His "dark" side. His justice is what He metes ot on those who oppose Him, but it is not "dark." It is holy.

It appears 'dark' to those on the receiving end and that was the obvious point.

A group who wants to dominate does not integrate...
