Are other people annoyed with how some threads get off topic? One of the things a site like this has to deal with is the public nature of the forum. A thread or two will get hijacked from time to time, but I am noticing that more and more threads go sideways, often due to the same individuals.
I would like a stricter monitoring of the threads. A warning or two and then lock the thread. |

You are right, this kind of thing, allowed to go unchecked, can drive a site into the ground. Everyone goes off topic occasionally, but the one trick pony guys, who steer every discussion to their pet subject do get pretty annoying.
Starve them of the life giving attention that they so crave.
PS. I remember trying to discuss anything other than SSM a year or two back was actually impossible for while. |

You know what, guys? It really doesn't make that big a difference whether the Stoner Twins throw in their comments or not. Yes, if you follow them, they'll lead you astray. So answer 'em or don't answer 'em but don't let them get your goat. Occasionally, despite themselves, they might bring forward a good idea or a challenging concepts... between tokes, of course.
For myself, I find them amusing but my skin is a bit thicker than most.

| Ignoring them is the best option, but to many people fall for the bait. It looks like the political junkie in people can't resist posting a reply. |

You're welcome. I'm never contrary to discussion but I'm not a fan of circular arguments so I hope you have some fresh material!
