Good news for Alberta as more businesses and educated people will move west. Today, Dalton made another holiday for the people of Ontario - sorry businesses you just became about 1/200 less productive. Anyone think Dalton won't raise taxes in the next four years? |

Quote: | In two elections under the “divisive” Mr. Harris, they took 45% of the popular vote. Under first the conciliatory Ernie Eves and now the obliging Mr. Tory, that number has dwindled to first 35 and now 32 per cent. It turns out, bland doesn’t work. All of Mr. Tory’s efforts to turn the Conservatives into a less mendacious version of the Liberals -- in an editorial board meeting with this newspaper, he could not name a single thing the government is doing now that it shouldn’t, or a single program he would cut -- have only succeeded in persuading the public that, indeed, the Liberals were right. |

I think this election supports one of my pet theories about politics. When faced with a choice between Liberal, or Liberal Lite, voters will choose the real thing. |

When I finish high school I will be gumbooting it to Vancouver, B.C.
The B.C. Liberals are basically likes the PCs in that province.
Keep Campbell in and the economy should stay afloat...
I'll work with others at Simon Fraser or UBC to build up the Conservative movement. |

Great Coyne article.
Does the CPC not help the PC's with any election planning. The CPC ran an almost perfect campaign last Federal election and then Tory runs the campaign from hell.
A day off in the middle of winter. Sounds like a good time to go to Florida. It'll only cost me 4 days vacation now. |

Family Day?
I think to that Simpson's Episode and "Love Day"
Could we have not named it after someone of note?
Mike Harris Day perhaps? |

I find it sad that this liberal institution, the same one that makes it hard for families to survive, he calling it family day. |
