I wonder which leadership candidate will be next to throw support behind Bob Rae?

I admit, I ranked them in the general order that I think they will drop from the race. Hedy is first to go, no one knows who she is.

PS. It is not likely that any of the last four will drop out, but I include their names for completeness. Poll goes for 10 days.

The logical drop-out candidates are Hedy Fry, Scott Brison, Joe Volpe and Martha Hall Findlay. Fry and Volpe are unlikely to be wooed by any of the top tier candidates, Brison is delusional, and Findlay would be the last "credible" woman candidate standing at the Dec convention.

Therefore, I would not expect any more endorsements before the end-Sept delegate selection meetings, unless Dryden sees the writing on the wall and decides to make a splash just before the delegates start voting.

According to that recent Gandalf poll, Dryden is the front runner, followed by Rae, so this race is definitely staying interesting.

But Dryden is close to being broke, so I don't imagine he'll be the winner, seeing as how money is super important in this race.

I said Fry, but if he can be bought for the right price, then Brison could

It is my personal opinion that Martha Findlay is in this till the bitter end. She wants her name to be known, both inside and outside the Liberal party. She entered to raise her profile, and I don't think she has acheived the height she wants yet.

Well, looks like Hedy has dropped out, and thrown her support to Rae.

Volpe and Rae have press conferences scheduled a half hour apart today. Please joe, stay in the race.

Fife was on CTV last nite saying Volpe's staying in just to spite Iggy. Seems the Liberal civil war will last beyond the convention.
