I dunno...he explained "old school conservatism" or something like that, more along the lines of Red Toryism. I think we need to build a new conservatism, that embrasses change and that accepts sometimes, the social has to be political.
I believe this is a reflection of how political parties evolve and the language struggles to keep up.
Originally, Liberals were the "laisse faire" free enterprisers who believed in liberty but socialists have infected and hijacked the Liberal parties. Neo-Liberals are those who are rejecting socialism and rediscovering classic Liberal values... which are now championed by the Conservatives!
