Remember July 1, 1863 the Confederates under the command of General Robert E. Lee begun a battle on the fields of Gettysburgh, thousands would die either on the field of battle or by disease & infection well after. The battle of Gettysburgh was a turning point, so many are wondering how what does this have to do with Canada? The civil war helped give birth to Canada, & many future Canadians fought for both sides of the Union & the Confederacy.

Uh... we went out of the city, to a friends in the boonies. Bought 6 24s of Stella Tallboys(i know, not canadian, but who cares ;) ), and had the time of our lives. On Canada Day we had a huge group to the place and had a big bbq and fireworks.

A lot of the people that came have just come to canada in the past year or so, so it made it particularly enjoyable to see them decked out in the gear, showing their spirit.
