This spells disaster for the US economy. China has $1.2 trillion in foreign reserves. Much of that money is in the form of US treasury bills. If China begins selling large amounts of T-bills you will see American interest rates rise and the US economy will enter a recession. It will be interesting to see just how many companies the Chinese decide to take a stake in. $1.2 trillion will buy a large chunk of the TSE.

Ronald Regan, must be rolling in his grave to know that the comunists are buying out the capitalists ! This to even be whispered about 10 years ago would have been treason!

They are not selling off all of their American foreign reserves are they?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
