Many of the South East Asian countries don't allow many people in - why? Where are they supposed to put them? this is shown right away by the massive number of immigrants we get from these countries..
Yeah I think the whole "Lebensraum" thing died as an argument about 60 years ago.

The German's weren't crowded in like sheep...

There's a big difference between justifying genocide as a means to gain space, and refusing entry to those not born in a country..

by your logic, denying ANYONE entry to the country is just as wrong... so canada, like other nations are totally barbaric.

Do you work for the MSM, because your ability to sensationalize is incredible...

Yes, I do think that things like the Berlin Wall are unacceptable.

That is an outlandish comparison. People in East Germany were forbidden from entering West Germany and were shot if they tried. If a fence was built, Mexicans would be free to cross the border at crossing points in a controlled and legal fashion.

My apologies. I retract my statement. You seem (to me) to imply in other posts that proposing or supporting strict immigrations laws is tantamount to racism, and so I assumed you were being serious. Such is the hazard of text-only communication.

Well, strict immigration laws are often the result of racism, and "living space" does indeed have absolutely nothing to do with it except as a simple way of excusing bad policies. But I suppose that many of my positions are out of the mainstream enough to be considered jokes in themselves, which is not intentional as I was quite conservative even a few years ago. For example, I would support people defending themselves against border guards or deportation agents.

You're right, that would appear to be a joke. I'm stunned you're serious about such a proposition. I won't even enter into a debate on this point, except to say that I find it an extremely dangerous and distasteful proposition.
