Canada becomes the 11th country to get involved. Mexico was invited in Monday, joining Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States and Vietnam.
With Canada and Mexico entering the talks, the countries involved represent 658 million people and a gross domestic product of $20.5 trillion, according to a release from the Prime Minister's Office.
Many believe the deal will have more economic strength than the North American Free Trade Agreement. |

| I am a firm believer that the more destinations we can ship Canadian goods the better, we have needed to find alternatives to our neighbors to the south for decades but never had a Government that expressed much interest in doing so. |

| I agree; the next most pressing issue is to extract our selves from the corrupt organization the UN. I am sure if we were to pull out, other like minded countrys would do the same. It's not that I think we should be isolationest, it's just this organization has made it a habit of slaming and condeming us for no reason other than we have had previous governments who bowed down to these morally bankrupt idiots. We can and will do better than this in the future....Steve O |

| It would be nice to get rid of the Dairy board as well, we are paying far too much for all dairy products like milk...... Not sure this is possible, since Harper got rid of the wheat board.... |
